Chantal Grayson

Biography
Chantal Grayson was born in Illinois, the daughter of Joseph LeRoy Grayson from Los Angeles, California and Francoise Grayson from Guadeloupe, French West Indies. She has dual citizenship American and French. Chantal Grayson is an educator, author, real estate broker, and talk radio show host She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
Education
Chantal attend Hawthorne High School. High school brought Chantal many accolades in academics, student government, sports, cross country and track, and field and leadership. Her junior year Chantal was honored for her leadership and community activism by Shirley Chisholm, who in 1968 was the 1st elected black congresswoman and 1972 was the 1st African American woman to run for President of the United States of America. Her senior year she was the recipient of a scholarship to Pepperdine University, Malibu campus to study leadership from the CEO of several Fortune 500 companies and end her senior year with acceptance letters to several top universities. Today Chantal has a Masters degree in Education with an emphasis on technology from California State University Dominguez Hills, a Bachelors of Art degree in Linguistics from the University of California Santa Barbara, and a California Teaching Credential in Foreign Language, Cross Cultural Development and Introductory English.
Aside from education Chantal Grayson is an avid equal housing opportunity advocate. She holds a valid California Department of Real EstateBrokers License. She is currently a Broker Associate at Team Equity L.A. Prop. Inc.

Chantal is the founder of Paths to Successa Certified Minority Business.
In 2006 she became the program director for ReachBack L.A., an at-risk after school youth program in Watts, California. Since its inception, more than 5,000 youth and their families have benefited from the organizations free after school tutoring, mentors, sports and recreation, and cultural enrichment programs.
In 2008 Chantal’s dream of authoring came to fruition. Her books target African American and Latino students but aid all students and parents through the maze of information pertaining to high school graduation, financial aid and college admission. A vast majority of her work in the inner city is to bring about awareness and develop Literacy programs in urban communities. As an author of youth educational materials hundreds of students’ lives have been positivity changed. She continues to touch lives through the Opal Foundation. “R.E.A.D.I.N.G = “Re Educate Alienated Denied Individuals Needing Guidance” In 2009 Chantal Grayson organized The Watts Summer Expo: Artist and Business for Literacy, in attendance were 3,000+ Angelinos.
