Marcelo Cabrol

Marcelo Cabrol (1967- ) is an Argentinian economist who graduated from Georgetown University (Public Policy and Government). He was adjunct professor at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and at the Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Mr.Cabrol currently heads the Education Division of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) leading the preparation of lending operations and analytical work in Education in the 26 countries in the Region. Before this post, Mr. Cabrol was Advisor to the Executive VicePresident of the Bank (2005-2007), and Senior Specialist in the Social sector Operations Department.
Current work with countries
Reconstructing Haiti's Education system after the 2010 earthquake: President Preval gave the Inter-American Development Bank, IDB the mandate to work with the Education Ministry and the National Commission preparing a major reform of the Education System in a 5 year plan.
