Marcello Barra

Marcello Cavalcanti Barra is a Brazilian writer, born in Belém, Pará (1974), who lives in Brasília-DF. He studied administration at USP and has a Master´degree in Sociology from University of Brasília (UnB), with additional studies at Columbia University (New York) and City University, London. He is an expert in public policies and government management from the Ministry of Planning in Brazil and is currently assigned as a researcher at IPEA the Institute of Applied Economic Research. His intertwined topics of research are: administration, state, legitimacy, technoscience and democracy.
