Marcel Somerville (Born January 7), also known as MC Plat'num is part of the successful UK collective Blazin' Squad. Their first single 'Crossroads' went straight to number 1 in 2002, and the group now have 5 top ten hits under their belts. Blazin’ Squad now consists of Marcel (Plat’num), Stuart (Reepa), Sam (Spike-e) & Chris (Melo –D). They are currently writing & recording their new album. The first single release from the album is scheduled for June 2006. Although still very close friends of Friday Hill they’re looking forward to giving them some stiff competition in 2006.
