Marc lachance

Marc Lachance (Born 1960) is widely recognized as the foremost composer of Jazz Music in Mid-South-Central Nebraska. Lachance's most critically acclaimed works, including "Dirk" and "Guano," feature small ensembles including a Trap Set, Piano, Trombone, Electric Bass, and Trumpet, as well as both Soprano and Alto Saxophones. Lachance's most recent compositions were premiered at the Perkins Auditorium, housed in the Fuhr Hall of Music at Hastings College on October 28th, 2008.

Lachance is a professor of Theory and Brass methods at Hastings College, a liberal arts college in Hastings, Nebraska.
