Marc Grocott

Marc Grocott (born November 17, 1989) is an English football player. He currently plays for Stoke City. Grocott is a striker; he plays predominantly upfront but is also comfortable playing a central midfield role. Career Having been a Stoke City supporter all of his life, Marc has spent much of his youth working his way up the ranks of the club, from the academy to the youth team and into the reserve side. He impressed at every stage and on 6th May Grocott was offered a 12 month professional contract at the club. In 2008 Stoke City gained promotion to the Premiership and to aid with Grocotts development he was sent to Alfreton Town on a 3 month loan on July 24th, 2008. This loan, however expired in August 2008. |
