Jai Reason

Jai Reason (born 1st September 1990) is an English footballer who plays for Cambridge United. His position is central midfielder, but can also play as a winger.
Career
Jai started off his career at Ipswich, progressing through the Academy and making it to the first team, but never started in the first team and thus, was unable to grasp onto a professional contract. He was initally signed by Cambridge United on a 1 month loan on 11th February 2009 .
His senior debut was against Kidderminster Harriers, where he assisted one of the goals for a 3-1 win. He was then playing a vital part of Cambridge's run for promotion and was then offered a loan extension, which was accepted until the end of the season. He was an important first team player, scoring 2 goals in 17 games and guiding Cambridge United to their second Blue Square play-off final, where they lost 2-0 to Torquay United. He has now signed for Cambridge United on a pre-contract agreement after he was released by Ipswich Town.
