WWE Intercontinental Championship Tournament (1996) This WWE Intercontinental Championship Tournament was a tournament that began at August 19, 1996 until September 23, 1996 at Hershey, Pennsylvania. WWE Intercontinental Championship Tournament (1997) This WWE Intercontinental Championship Tournament was a tournament that began at September 8, 1997 until October 5, 1997 at WWF Badd Blood 1997. *Note: Ken Shamrock initially won the match. But he was injured so Faarooq advanced.
