Maoist Communist Party (Spain)

The Maoist Communist Party (Spanish: Partido Comunista Maoista, PCM) is a Spanish Marxist-Leninist-Maoist party with particular affinity for Gonzalo Thought. The PCM was formed in 2019 following an "anti-revisionist" split within the Marxist-Leninist Young Communist Collectives (CJC). Originally, it was named the Workers' Party (Marxist-Leninist).
Around 2020, the Workers' Party would increasingly come under Maoist influence until December 3, 2021 when it was codified into the group's official ideology during its Second Congress. It was also here where the party acknowledged the ideology of Abimael Guzmán as contributing to the political line.
In December 2022, the group publicly signed the foundational document of the International Communist League.
