Manny Grado

Manny Grado (born November 30, 1991 - nicknamed "Nightmare" - is a Mexican - Puerto Rican-American boxer. He is a two time silver gloves and one time Golden Gloves award winner. He started at the age of 5, when his Grandfather trained him to stay out of trouble in the streets of Chicago.He was the amateur fighter of the year in Chicago. He became the first Mexican/Puerto Rican Boxer to win two silver gloves and one golden glove award.

He was born in Chicago,Illinois and fist started going to the gym at the age of five. His Grandfather put him into boxing so that he would stay out of trouble. He grew up in the north side of Chicago with all of his cousins. His Grandfather wanted him to stay away from them so that he would not be part of the street violence that his cousins were involved in. He grew up with his family members being Latin Kings. Which is a big gang in Chicago. He first started fighting at the age of 8 when his grandpa decided it was time for him to start fighting. Since than he has had an undefeated record. And is considered one of the best amateur boxers in the Chicago area. He had to stop boxing when his grandfather past away from a stroke. He now resides in round rock Texas. He no longer boxes, ESPN wants to promote him so that he can be a fighter for ESPN. He has not yet made a decision.
