Mangalassery Neelakandan

Mangalassery Neelakandan is a character played by the Indian actor Mohanlal in the Malayalam movie Devasuram, directed by I. V. Sasi. This role is widely touted to be the most memorable performance by this actor. This character has shades of a villainous feudal lord and is also present in the movie's sequel, Ravanaprabhu.
Mangalassery is the ancestral home of the protagonist of this storyline, Neelakandan. The character is shown to squander all the wealth of the estate, indulging in all sorts of vices.
