Mandisa Greene is a British veterinary surgeon and Junior Vice President of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. She was the first person from an ethnic minority to be elected to the RCVS Officer Team. Early life and education Greene was born in the United Kingdom and raised in Trinidad and Tobago. At the age of 18 she moved back to the UK to study Biological Chemistry at the University of Exeter. She moved to the University of Edinburgh, where in 2008 she earned a degree in veterinary medicine at the . Career Greene worked in veterinary surgeries across the midlands. She specialises in small animal emergency medicine. She served as Chair of the Practice Standards Group, where she coordinates the practise standards scheme. She is the first person of an ethnic minority to hold this position since the RCVS began in 1844.<ref name=":0" />
