Mandarin Restaurants is a chain of award-winning all-you-can-eat Chinese-Canadian buffets in Ontario, Canada. Mandarin Restaurants was founded in 1979 by James Chiu, George Chiu, Diana Chiu and K.C. Chang. There are currently 21 locations in Ontario, Canada. While Mandarin Restaurants is known for its all-you-can-eat Chinese-Canadian buffet, it also offers à-la-carte, take-out and delivery. The first restaurant was a small à-la-carte restaurant in Brampton, Ontario. The buffet as we know came later. In 1987 the first franchise location was opened. Today, it has grown into a chain across southern Ontario. The Mandarin headquarters, which is based in Brampton, includes a corporate restaurant, a banquet facility, a warehouse, and the corporate head office. Canada Day Event On July 1st, 2009, Mandarin will have a day-long free buffet to any Canadian Citizen as part of their 30th anniversary celebration. |
