Malanka bus

The Malanka Bus is a Toyota Coaster converted into a recreational party bus by the Uki community in Perth, Western Australia. The bus has been functioning since late 2007, it's maiden voyage being leavers 2007 and the latest voyage being World Youth Day in Sydney 2008.

The Malanka Bus was previously used as a school bus and also as a Perth airport shuttle bus. Once the bus was purchased, the inside seats were taken out, a new floor was put in and modifications to the ceiling were made.

The following are some of the features and characteristics of the Malanka Bus:

----
The perimeter of the rear end of the bus resembles a lounge. A couch is the main feature of the rear and U shapes around the back window and seats most of the passengers. A stainless steel pole was originally planned to be erected in the centre of the back of the bus for balance and support of those standing up.
A 200L esky is located at the front of the bus, facing the couch and opposite from the cockpit. Cold beverages are be stored in a bar fridge here along with food and more drinks.
The cockpit will be secluded from the rest of the bus to ensure the captain is not distracted.
The stereo is the most panty-soaking feature of the Malanka Bus. 4 6x9" speakers have been mounted to the ceiling and a 15" subwoofer placed under the main seat at the rear. The sound system is vairtually gauranteed to remove the clothes off just about any intoxicated uni student.
