The Broomhill Bar Crawl (usually referred to as the BBC) is a pub crawl in the Broomhill suburb of Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The route takes in all 6 pubs in Broomhill in a specific order, with each participant having to drink a certain pint in each of the pubs.
The Route
* The Broomhill Tavern - Pint of lager * The Place - Pint of ale (usually an IPA) * The Nottingham House - Pint of extra cold lager * The South Seas - Pint of Guinness * The Fox & Duck - Pint of Strongbow * The York - Any pint chosen by the participant
Rules * It is a timed bar crawl, with a target time of one hour from when the first drink is started. * All drinks are bought in rounds * At least one "runner" is required to down a drink quickly and move onto the next pub to buy the round to speed up the process * No one is allowed to go to the toilet unsupervised in case they are sick. * If anyone is sick then their completion time is invalid. * The six drinks above cannot be substited for any other drink, including half pints. * If a pub is shut then the relevant drink should be bought in the next pub on the route along with that pubs specified drink. * If a pub is shut then you should still walk to its entrace to ensure that all walking distance is covered. * If it is The York that is shut then participants should walk halfway to The York, then turn around and go back to The Fox & Duck before buying the final pint there.
