Maks Gabriel

Maksim Gabriel Knecht (born January 5, 1984), known professionally as Maks Gabriel, is a Canadian-American music producer and songwriter. Between 1991 - 2002, he studied classical piano at the McGill University's Conservatory of Music in Montreal. In his final four years, he studied under Russian pianist Marina Goglidze-Mdivani.
His first major break happened when he co-wrote two songs for the pop music duo RyanDan which appeared on their second album Imagine."
After a couple of years in Toronto, Maks moved to Nashville to grow his network. In Nashville, Maks continues to get cuts on Canadian and US records, including a song he wrote for the band "All Things New" titled New Man, and landing one of his productions in the hit HBO show "True Blood."
Maks still lives in Nashville with his wife, and continues to take on projects with labels and big publishing houses such as "Universal Music Group" "Sony" "CP Music Group(The Weeknd, Mia Martina, Massari) " "IROC/Music Solutions" "Bandwagon Red" "SB21" and "Word Publishing."
