Majella Chambers is a fashion designer based in the UK . Early life Accepted into London College of Fashion at 16 years old and was a regular at London Fashion Week assisting some of Britains top Fashion Designers. Travelled extensively and worked in Europe, predominately in Italy and fabric sourcing in South America before starting her own internet based business in 2004. By 2005 she had become the Young Entrepreneur of the Year accumilating a large celebrity clientele as well as positive press coverage Worldwide. Her fashion show for the Chernobyl Children Lifeline raised much needed awareness and funds for children affected by the nuclear disaster. Designs She started as a womanswear designer specialising in vintage inspired party dresses. By 2006 she branched out into lingerie design and introduced the quarter cup bra in chantilly lace which was highly acclaimed in the UK and Scandinavia. Present life Majella moved to Copenhagen, Denmark in 2006 to launch her new collection in Copenhagen Fashion Week. She returned to the UK after the birth of her 3 children. She is currently working on a childrenswear collection. She remains passionate about using ethically sourced fabrics and ensuring that all manufacture takes place within the UK, with a lot of items being handmade.
