Madden NFL 12

Madden NFL 12 will be the 23rd edition to the Madden NFL franchise. It will be released on August 14, 2011. One already confirmed feature is the featuring of Canadian Football League and United Football League teams and players. The game will feature all 32 NFL teams, including legend teams. According to the official EA Sports Blog, the Franchise mode will be completely scrapped and redone. This will be welcomed by many long time Madden fans. Officially confirmed by Madden creators and designers, at a board meeting on Friday, October 23, 2010 that the 2012 game will include advanced ball control and movement graphics. An all-new ball control feature will be added. This will allow receivers and defenders to battle for the ball until the moment when the possession is complete. Also, the new game will be the first Madden game to have the Create-A-League mode. In this new mode, users will be able to create a league of their own, or import a league to edit or use, which will include the Canadian Football League, and United Football League. This will also be the first time the game will not only be an NFL-endorsed product since the NFL entered the series. The United Football League confirmed that their players, coaches, and league would be in the new 2012 game as well as on the Create-A-League mode to edit and play with. In addition a full broadcast integrations of CBS, NBC, TNT, ABC, and NFL Network broadcasters will be featured in the game including Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Gus Johnson, Verne Lundquist, Ernie Johnson, Rich Eisen, Al Michaels, Jon Gruden, Tom Hammond, Cris Collinsworth, and more. Also in addition, a full pregame, halftime, and postgame reports wiil be included in the game. Past stadiums include Three Rivers Stadium, Giants Stadium, Pontiac Silverdome, Milwaukee County Stadium, RFK Stadium, and more will be added in stadium section. Past Madden soundtracks will be featured in the game. Madden developers, Tiburon and EA Sports will not be together on the series since the game switched from John Madden Football in 1993. EA Sports will remain, but Tiburon says they will not continue with the series. Ideas for who should be on the cover, will start in March. So far, based on the current season in progress, rumors that developers suggested having Mark Sanchez on the cover. Rumors that some developers are also considering re-branding the game, which would mean it would no longer be called Madden NFL. A likely name would be, Madden League, and would feature stickers and notes on the game covers and boxes that include the names of the United and Canadian Football leagues, as well as the NFL. And that means the wii version will finally have some type of create a team.
