Dr M G Moula Miah FRSA (born Rajnagar Upazila, Moulvibazar District, Bangladesh) is a British businessman in Solihull, the West Midlands, United Kingdom. He operates two restaurants and a hotel in the West Midlands of the UK and in Bangladesh, and operates the MBM Business Group in Bangladesh, consisting of MBM Agro Industry, MBM Media, MBM International Recruiting Travel and Tours and MBM Builders Mart BD-UK Ltd. Community work Moula has funded several institutions and infrastructure buildings, and has offered scholarships to students. Awards and recognition * Moula's restaurant "Rajnagar Tandoori" won the "Best Restaurant in The Midlands" award in 2006 from The British Curry Awards. * He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. * He a former president of the Guild of Bangladeshi Restaurateurs. * He was one of 12 persons to receive "commercially important person" status by the Government of Bangladesh in 2011. |
