Luke Swindlehurst

Luke Swindlehurst (born 20 September 1984 in Barrow-in-Furness) is an English footballer and coach, who is currently manager of Preston North End Women.
Career
After coming through the youth and reserve teams at Barrow AFC, Swindlehurst played semi-professionally for Rossendale United and Atherton Collieries.
Qualified UEFA B Licence Coach (2009) and Manchester United supporter Swindlehurst coached at Man United soccer schools .before being appointed assistant manager of Manchester City Ladies in October 2009. In November 2010 Swindlehurst moved to Preston North End Women, to work as assistant coach to Andy Burgess.
In June 2011 Swindlehurst was appointed manager of Preston North End and stepped into his first full management role within women's football.
In August 2011 Swindlehurst took PNE Women to win the Annual 'Uclan Ladies Tournament'..
