Luis Sera Resident Evil 4

Luis Sera is a fictional video game character from the resident evil survival horror series. He is one of the main characters of Resident Evil 4, the mysterious inhabitant of the area who used to be a police officer.

Before the events in the game Luis was a police officer in the area but quit because no one appreciated what he was doing, how he was putting his neck on the line everyday and he started to believe that being a hero isn't all that is cracked up to be. When Luis was a kid, he and his grandfather would explore the island and find new place around the place (This is explained in a memo found in the farm in the village), his grandfather was an inhabitant of the area long ago. In the events of Resident Evil 4, Luis is a researcher hired by Saddler to help with the creation of the parasite known in the game as Las Plagas (This is explained many memos around the left around the village and castle areas). Luis soon betrays Saddler by trying to steal the sample and is captured but he then meets Leon, tied up, in secret room in a old cabin beyond the farm and he then escapes. Later in the castle area, Luis is killed by Saddler after stealing the sample and then Saddler takes it back. Before Luis dies in Leon's arms, he gives Leon a container of pills that are meant to suppress the growth of the parasite in the Leon and Ashley's body. Luis is a experienced fighter and shooter, almost as good as Leon (Shown in the cabin section in Chapter 2-2). Many of Luis's memos are found throughout the game explaining the creation of Las Plagas, and different creatures.

Luis's important role in Resident Evil 4 is that he is the researcher who brought the Las Plagas from the mines to life in the labs on the island. Luis also helped in saving Ashley and Leon by creating the device that destroys the parasite in the body. He is also a skilled gunfighter in which he can fight through the village and the castle.

In Ada's Report it fully explains Luis's role in the game and his purpose with Saddler and the Los Illuminados. He is surprisingly not a playable character in the Mercenaries because he is a character that is capable of using firearms and proper fighting moves.
