Tom Rice is a very controversial influence on both the East Bay, and the North Bay cultures. He grew up in Castro Valley, but as "his influential rap and reggae lyrics progressed to a level never seen before,"(Wright,B., Sonoma State Star newspapaer, February 2008, p.5) he moved to the North Bay. He then started attending college at Sonoma State University, where he still attends. He has been a freestyle and reggae rap influence for many students on and off campus, and currently is the president of the internationally recongized Delta Iota Kappa fraternity. As of the beginning of March 2008, he plans to leave his lyrical mark from Eureka to San Diego. Watch out for Tom Rice in California rap revolutions.
