Dr Lucien Jayasuriya is a Sri Lankan civil Servant and Medical Manager.
He is currently Medical Director of Glaxo Smith Kline Sri Lanka .
Jayasurya has held many positions of responsibility in the Sri Lankan Health care system.

Additional secretary Ministry of Health 1995-1997
Founder President Sri Lanka college of Venereologists 1996-1997
President of the Sri Lanka Medical Association in 1995 . He is credited with initiating career guidance seminars for doctors in Sri Lanka and initiating the Health management committee of the SLMA. he also served on the vaccines committee of the SLMA.

Chairman board of Management Postgraduate Institute of Medicine 2001-2004 2011-to date.
Jayasuriya has been a critic of both government ministries , as well as the medical trade union government Medical Officers Association (GMOA)
