Luca Maggiora is a London-based restaurant nightlife and hospitality entrepreneur and co-founder of several London nightclub and restaurant brands including Toy Room, Scandal, Charlie Berkeley Street and La Mia Mamma Restaurant. Early life and career Luca Maggiora was born and raised in Turin, Italy. He received two Masters degrees, one in sociology and one in business, from the University of Turin. He moved to London in 2006 and worked as a credit analyst for Banca Intesa Sanpaolo in the City. In 2008 he got a consultation contract for the transportation and logistics department at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In 2009 he opened his first club, LUXX, located in Mayfair. He launched Toyroom in 2014, Charlie in 2015, followed by Scandal in 2017 and Italian restaurant La Mia Mamma in 2018. Toyroom is currently one of the biggest nightlife brands in the world which expands to different locations including London Mayfair, London Soho’s Toy Roof,São Paulo, Manchester, Rome, New Delhi, Mykonos, Dubai and Athens.
