Loren Howard

Loren Howard is an American entrepreneur, former college football player, and indoor rower.
Early life and football career
Howard was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and later moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, where he attended Saguaro High School. He played defensive end in high school. He attended Northwestern University from 2002 to 2006, where he played in the Big Ten Conference. As a freshman, he was named Big Ten Defensive Freshman of the Year and a Freshman All-American defensive end. He later earned All-Big Ten Conference honors and finished his college career with 171 tackles (34 for loss) and 11 sacks.
He transferred to Arizona State University for his senior year but was unable to continue his football career due to injuries. Howard later competed in indoor rowing and recorded times of 12.6 seconds in the 100 meters, 430 meters in one minute, and 1:10.5 in the 500 meters category.
Post-football career
In 2007, Howard co-founded Altweb Media, a web design and digital marketing company.
In January 2012, he acquired Prime Plus Mortgages, a hard money lending company. In December 2012, he co-founded Alpha Direct Compounding, a compounding pharmacy. He exited the company in December 2015.
