Daunta Peterson

Daunta Peterson (born August 3, 1984 in Tampa, Florida) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He was originally signed by the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2007. Peterson played college football at Dubuque.
Early years
Peterson attended and played football at Howard W. Blake High School in Tampa, Florida.
College career
At Dubuque, Peterson was one of the school's top receivers, leading the team in receiving yardage, catches, and touchdowns every year since his freshman year. His career totals are: 149 REC, 2212 REC YDS, 14.8 YD REC AVG, 18 REC TD, 36 ATT, 172 Rush YDS, 1 Rush TD, 4.7 YD Rush ATT AVG, All-Conf., 2x Offensive MVP. He was quoted as one of the best wide receivers in the school's history. Peterson was also an All American sprinter at the University of Dubuque.
Professional career
After going undrafted in 2006, Peterson signed with the Buffalo Bills in January 2007. He was allocated to NFL Europa but suffered a injury in the Rhein Fire's last game of the season. He was released from the Bills' Non-Football Injury/NFL Europa list on December 3.
