"Lord Lord Lord" is a song by American rapper and producer Kanye West, which features Mos Def, Swizz Beatz, Raekwon and Charlie Wilson. The track was released as part of West's 2010 GOOD Fridays program. Background Less than two weeks after the song had been released, featured artist Mos Def signed to West's record label GOOD Music. Despite him signing to the label as late as 2010, he'd been down with West for a while, having been featured on the song "Two Words" from his debut album The College Dropout (2004). Composition "Lord Lord Lord" samples 1978 song "Solstice" by Brian Bennett throughout the entirety of it. Release The track was released on September 17, 2010 as part of West's GOOD Fridays program for that year. He revealed via Twitter on the Friday of its release that the song was still being worked on near midnight because of Swizz recording his verse that late. Critical reception Pitchfork felt positively towards "Looking For Trouble", described it as being: 'another monster' from West. It was heavily praised by Consequence of Sound, being described as a: 'seven-and-a-half minute chiller'. When ' ranked West's 2010 GOOD Fridays releases from best to worst, the track was placed at number 13 out of 15.
