Loglan 88

Loglan 88 is an object-oriented computer language, first devised at the Institute of Informatics at Warsaw University. Loglan 88 (as with Loglan 82, its predecessor) is primarily used as a teaching language, including all the programming tools used in object-oriented programming, modular programming, and structured programming as well as programming by rules and functional programming. Supported object-oriented programming features include classes, objects, coroutines, processes (objects which are able to act in parallel), inheritance, exception handling, and dynamic arrays. Loglan 88 is unrelated to Loglan, an artificial language. Adding to the confusion, Loglan's derivative Lojban was at one time known as Loglan-88. Further reading * |
