LNG Academy is an academy that located in Badak LNG area of Bontang, Indonesia.
Background
This program is held because experts in working with liquefied natural gas are required in Indonesia and internationally. This kind of expert is required because LNG companies like Statoil, Qatargas and others have built LNG plants that needs many operators and maintenance technicians. This program also as a contribution from Badak LNG for education.
Major subject
Major subject in LNG Academy is based on operational LNG plant needs, which are:
# Gas processing (Diploma)
# Plant maintenance
## Electrical and instrumentation (Diploma)
## Mechanical and rotating equipment (Diploma)
Facility
Facility that offered in LNG Academy actually are the facility in the training section of Badak LNG, which are used for pre-employment training but now are used by LNG Academy for support the activity. The facilities are:
* Operator training simulator (OTS)
* Distributed control system (DCS)
* Workshop facility of Badak LNG
* LNG train Mork-up
* Subject Module
* Uniform
