Lizha James

Lizha James is Mozambican singer, born in Maputo on (December 12 1982), is one of the popular pioneers in the Mozambican music movement.

Biography
Lizha james grew up around music and started having passion for music as a young girl. She was part of several music groups in the country, notably Electrobase and Bloody Town. However, her walk to fame came when she started working hard as a solo artist.

Style of music
Lizha Janes blends her music by mixing the local Mozambican Marrabenta, Ragga, hip hop, R&b , Balades and without forgetting traditional Mozambican rythms.

A Raínha do Ragga
A Rainha do Ragga was the first commercial album from Lizha James. This album brought her commercial success and featured critically acclaimed singles such as Numa wa mina, Nitamo mukuma kwina and the very popular hit, 4 all ya. It marked the debut in a growing movemment of Mozambican music and exposure of Mozambican culture to the African continent and Lusophone world.

Sentimentos de mulher
This is the third album released by Lizha James and features more of Lizha's Jmes muscial growth with a blend of mixes of Marrabenta and Ragga. Most popular singles off the album include songs like Lutas entre Familias and Aniguiri which display brilliant mixing of different genres of music hence defining Mozambican popular music genre.
