Little Face Mitt is an Internet meme and the name of a Tumblr-based blog founded by humorist Reuben Glaser on August 20th, 2012. It consists of images of the 2012 United States presidential candidate Mitt Romney with his face manipulated to appear smaller on his head. The blog's stated goal is to "get people to involuntarily forever see Mitt Romney with a tiny face". Notoriety Within a day after the site was published it was added to Know Your Meme. Within four days it had garnered the attention of Gawker, Buzzfeed, PostSecret, Mother Jones Funny or Die MSNBC’s Alex Wagner and the International Business Times. , Little Face Mitts continue to appear on the original blog. The images are used as the backgrounds of some of the computers at Barack Obama's Chicago reelection headquarters. |
