Little Eucharistic Brothers of Divine Will

The Little Eucharistic Brothers of Divine Will are a contemplative-active Catholic community of consecrated Brothers or monacelli (little monks)based near Dover, Tasmania.
Origins of the Community
In 2006 Father Doug Harris and Archbishop Barry Hickey of Perth established a new Catholic community to promote Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration. In May 2013 the contemplative brothers of the community formed the Little Eucharistic Brothers of the Divine Will within the Apostles of Perpetual Adoration with the approval of the Moderator of the community. The Little Brothers were based at St Bernadette's parish Glendalough, Western Australia where Father Harris was the parish priest. The Brothers spirituality as monacelli (little monks) owes much to the teachings of the servant of God Luisa Piccarreta who according to her writings Jesus referred to as his monacella (little nun)and to the life of Blessed Charles de Foucauld. The Little Eucharistic Brothers of Divine Will try to live out the life of the Holy Family in the House of Nazareth and they have a strong devotion to St Joseph as every Little Brother (monacello) has the name Joseph as well as another saint's name.
Move to Tasmania
In February 2014 the Brothers moved from Western Australia to Hobart in Tasmania where they became established in the parish of Sandy Bay at the Presbytery at Taroona with the support of the parish priest Father Michael Tate and approval of Archbishop Julian Porteous. In February 2015 the Brothers moved to the Huon Valley parish to Huonville and in July 2015 the moved to their present Beit Achim (Hebrew for House of Brothers) on a 21 acre property near Dover which they named St Joseph's Hidden Place. They currently (2017) are sharing the property with eight cattle.
