Conditions for listing here *Cher-related studio quality recording. *Not commercially or promotionally released by a reputable label. *Documented demo versions of songs not released in any form or/and hearsay reports, rumors with little or no documentation. *Songs that Cher co-wrote but never recorded herself. *Early demo versions of released songs where there is a substantial difference to the released versions (such as completely different melody) and/or early demo versions or working versions of songs ultimately released where differences are not substantial (e.g. the differences relate to structure arrangement, lyrics, instrumentation). This might normally involve early versions with different writers/producers than the released version. *Studio version (not live) of song performed in TV show like Cher... and Other Fantasies. First Decade Recordings: 1965-1969 The 3614 Jackson Highway album *Wedding Bell Blues. Master 17005 Cher cover the Laura Nyro penned-song during the early session for the album. According with the official Atco Records page about the album, this unreleased song is now lost. This was recorded on April 23, 1969. *Always David. Master 17007 Cher also covered this song, written by Eddie Hinton, Dan Penn and Wayne Jackson. This song was recorded on April 25, 1969 and now is officially lost. Second Decade Recordings: 1970-1979 The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour *Brand New Key. Cher recorded this song for the twelfth show in 1971, and was used in a cartoon. The Take Me Home album *Bad Girls. The same song recorded by Donna Summer. She was proposed to record, but she doesn't accept. *Sometime Somewhere. Written with Mark Hudson and David Howard. In 1979 Mike Douglas Show interview Cher, and she talks about the Take Me Home album, and how she wrote the "My Song (Too Far Gone)" song. That's when she also said that she wrote some other songs, but that she thought they were "crap". ASCAP title code #491234812. The Prisoner (Mirror Image) album *Feel Like A Number. Knows also as "I'm Not a Number" and "Like a Number" is a song performed in the "Cher... and Other Fantasies" TV show. A rock version was recorded during the Mirror Image album session, but was abandoned at the demo stage for recorded disco/new wave songs for the album Prisoner. The song was previous recorded in 1978 by Bob Seger in 1978 for the album "Stranger in Town". The Cher... and Other Fantasies TV show *Ain't Nobody's Business, More Than You Know (1979 Version) and Take Me Home (Ballad Version). Those songs were recorded for the show.<ref name="Same"/> It's not clear whether it intended to include "Take Me Home (Ballad Version)" in the Take Me Home album as a reprise. Third Decade Recordings: 1980-1989 The Black Rose album *Don't Trust That Woman. Written by Cher and Les Dudek for the album but was dumped. After was recorded By Dudek for his 1981 "Gipsy Ride" album. US copyright registration# PA0000118082. Later the song was re-written with Lady Choc Ice [Elton John!] for the Elton John 1986 album Leather Jackets. US copyright registration# PA0000312865. *Ain’t Got No Money and Dirty Old Man. Those songs were performed during "The Black Rose Show" and were both recorded for the second untitled Black Rose album with other songs. Fourth decade recordings: 1990-1999 The Greatest Hits 1965-1992 compilation *Blueberry Hill. Listed in the Warner-Chappel database but remains unreleased. The 1994 writing session *Lovers Forever. Was written with Shirley Eikhard. This song remains unreleased, until 2005 Shirley Eikhard recorded for her album Pop. Ascap Title Code: #421658479. *Anymore. A second song written with Doug Millett and Kevin Savigar is listed in the ASCAP database Title Code: #312204236. Maybe an early version of "Fit To Fly" * Obviously Causasian. Written with Vinz Dejon Parrette and Alan Roy Scott. The song is listed in the Warner Chappell. The It's a Man's World album *Sun Ain't Gonna Shine (Demo Mix). Demo version of the released song. It's during 4:51 and got an alternate instrumental. The Believe album *Love is in The Air (Old Original Mix). During the early sessions Cher recorded a cover version of "Love Is in the Air" that she previously performed a cappella on the talk show The Magic Hour in 1997. The song was mixed and produced by Junior Vasquez but it did not appear in the final cut of the album. Now it is only available on file sharing networks. *Invinsible reported ny DJ Junior Vasquez as an early song for Cher's "Believe" album. The Tea with Mussolini soundtrack *Smoke Gets In Your Eyes. A 0'30 clip of the song was included in the soundtrack. As there was no official soundtrack released, the song remains unreleased on any format. Fifth decade recordings: 2000-2009 The not.com.mercial album During 2001/2007 four demos from the album were leaked online: *Still and With or Without You. Those unplugged versions has been available since 2001. *Running (Rough). This rough demo is available since 2003. *Sister of Mercy (Alternate Vocal). Leaked around the 2007, is featuring a slightly different instrumental and an alternative vocal of Cher in the end of the song. The Living Proof album *For The Love and Don’t Leave Me This Way. These songs were reported in press but no other information were provided. *Wasting Time. Written by Tracy Ackerman, Niger Roger and George Hedges. There are no info about this. Ascap Title Code: #531145832. *Love Don't Live Here. An unreleased collaboration with model Eric West. The song was written by Eric P. Rosa, David Foster and Carole Bayer Sager. There are no info about this. Ascap Title Code: #421557775 *Music's No Good Without You, Alive Again, Rain Rain, Love So High (Rare Mix). Those are all demos released in the Austraian sample album. "Love So High got different instrumental, while the other tracks are without the vocoder. * Love So High (Promo). An extended version of the demo. The Stuck on You soundtrack *Human (Demo). The song was included in the soundtrack. There was no official release, but in Germany the song was released on a promotional CD of the soundtrack called Unzertrennlich and that version clocks 3:49. The song can be heard during the end credits of the film and is played during a scene in a club. The Alfie soundtrack *Alfie (New Version). Cher in 2003 re-recorded her 1966 hit song for the remake of the film Alfie. The song remain unreleased and was replaced with the Joss Stone version.
