List of physics-based computer and video games

This is a list of videogames that feature the use of physics (Classical mechanics in particular) as an important aspect of gameplay.

* Armadillo Run - A game in the "construction puzzle" genre, you must get the ball to the target using various materials.
* Bontãgo - This is the realtime tower-building strategy game, with a realistic physics environment.
* BreakQuest - an Arkanoid/Breakout style game with heavy use of physics. From Nurium Games.
* Bridge Builder - a series of games where bridges must be constructed within limited budgets.
* Calamity Game - Flash based physics rag doll web toy with community.
* Crayon Physics - puzzle game where player must collect stars using a ball
* Dark Messiah - Action Fantasy game that uses the Half-Life 2 Source Engine and incorporates gameplay that is physics heavy.
* Elasto mania (Elma) - a simplified 2D dirt bike goal-based game also known as Action SuperCross, from Balazs.
* Elebits - A game for the Wii by Konami in which the player interacts with all objects in the environment to find small creatures.
* Garry's Mod/Gmod - A sandbox game where the player may build or destroy a wide variety objects with dozens of tools, which also runs on the Half-Life 2 Source Engine.
* Gish - a unique 2D platformer by Chronic Logic, an independent games developer.
* Half-Life 2 - a popular first person shooter by Valve Software. Makes heavy use of its physics engine in puzzles and general gameplay.
* The Incredible Machine - a game in which the player constructs Rube Goldberg devices to achieve various objectives.
* Jellocar - a driving game with a squishy car in squishy worlds. Use soft body physics for all of the objects in the world.
* Jurassic Park: Trespasser - a first person shooter and adventure title developed by Dreamworks Interactive. First game world to be influenced by physics; used in puzzles and gameplay.
* Kumoon - A game by Mikko Oksalahti, where the player knocks over piles of boxes.
* N - A 2D freeware platformer.
* Narbacular Drop - a first-person puzzle game developed as a student project; predecessor to Portal.
* Phun - A Physics game in which you use Rectangles, Squares, Circles, and user made objects in a 2D scape.
* Penumbra: Overture - a first-person horror survival adventure featuring physics-based puzzles as important part of gameplay.
* Porrasturvat and Rekkaturvat - translated as "Stair dismount" and "Truck dismount" respectively, made by tAAt Productions.
* Portal - a first-person action puzzle game set in the world of Half-Life.
* RigidChips - A sandbox-style rigid body physics game.
* ROBLOX - An online 3D building game where using physically simulated Lego-like bricks.
