This is the list of current presenters and reporters for the children's magazine shows Newsround and Sportsround. Newsround Main Presenters Sonali Gudka Chief anchor on the main 5pm edition of Newsround. Also a reporter and breakfast bulletin presenter. She is the new deputy chief anchor for Sportsround. Newsround: 2006-? Newsround Specials 2008-? Sportsround 2008-? Regular Appearances: *Chief Anchor- Main Anchor for the main edition of newsround and weekday afternoons. *Relief Presenter- Weekday mornings on CBBC and CBBC on BBC Two. *Reporter/presenter- Saturdays on Sportsround. Adam Fleming Joined Newsround in 2002 to report and present bulletins for the CBBC Channel. Fleming has also presented entertainment spin-off, Newsround Showbiz. Newsround: 2001-2007, 2008-? Newsround: 2008-? Regular Appearances: *Began presenting on the main Newsround Show on Monday 4th August 2008. Maddy Savage Reporter for Newsround who joined on Thursday 14th August 2008. She is a replacement for Laura who left on Friday 15th August 2008. Newsround: 2008-? Regular Appearances: *Occasional presenter- Weekdays on CBBC Sportsround Main Presenters Michael Absalom He is currently the new chief anchor for Sportsround having previously presented Best of Friends and CBBC.
