List of commercial secure mobile companies

The following companies produce and/or sell crypto phones, mobile phone devices that are promoted as privacy preserving. The devices sold by many of these companies are commercially available devices which are modified, where in some cases the in built camera, microphone and GPS receiver are removed, and the operating system patched or replaced with a custom one, with specialised messaging applications installed, which employ strong encryption. Many also provided instantaneous wiping of the device, and some provide the ability to boot a different operating system as a means of camouflage.
