 * Sir Dupre: Greg Dykes from Custom Creation.
 * Gwenno: Kathleen Jones, David R. Watson's late wife.
 * Iolo the Bard: David R. Watson, who wrote some music for the games. Like the Iolo character, he also makes crossbows.
 * Jaana the Druid: Jaana, last name unconfirmed. (details needed)
 * Shamino the Ranger: Richard Garriott. The character was modeled after Garriott's activities in Society for Creative Anachronism.
 * Tseramed the Ranger: Ken Demarest, Ultima VII lead programmer.

 * Chuckles: Lord British's court jester is Chuck Bueche, co-founder of Origin Systems and one of the notable programmers of the series.
 * Lord Blackthorn: Starr Long, a long-time Origin employee and the co-creator of Ultima Online.
 * Lord British: Richard Garriott's most famous alter ego.
 * R. Allen G.: Author of books "The Day it Didn't Work" and "No One Leaves" in Ultima VII is a rather direct reference to development leadership methodology of Richard Garriott.
 * Jely: Author-protagonist of the "Cheesy Book" in Ultima VIII is Jason Ely, who programmed the book code among other things.
 * Hawkins: A pirate in Ultima VI is unflatteringly named after Trip Hawkins, Electronic Arts founder.
 * De Snel: A famous fencer in Ultima VII is named after Dallas Snell, executive producer of Ultima VI, Ultima VII and other games.
 * Dr. Johann Schliemann Spector: Scientist in Worlds of Ultima games is based on Warren Spector.
 * Spektor: The schemy financier in Ultima VII Part Two: Serpent  Isle is also named after Warren Spector.
 * Warren: A seclusive and silent "specter" behind the magis' storeroom in Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss earns Warren Spector's name
