Lisa McGregor

Lisa McGregor (born March 12, 1972, , Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian business woman, author, and the President/CEO of Whistler Naturals Skin Care Ltd. In January 2012, she co-founded the company with Christie Angeloni.
Early life
McGregor attended Chatelech Secondary in Sechelt, British Columbia. She also attended Aberdeen Elementary, in Kamloops, British Columbia, throughout her elementary school years.
Career
In 2005/2006, McGregor was listed on the honours list with CGA BC and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Commerce through Athabasca University, Alberta, Canada, and Thompson Rivers University, in Kamloops, BC, Canada.
McGregor moved to Whistler from suburban Abbotsford, British Columbia, after her husband died suddenly from a heart attack. After re-locating to Whistler, British Columbia, McGregor worked as the Accounting Manager at the Mountainside Lodge, until leaving in 2013 to work full-time at Whistler Naturals Skin Care. McGregor also started a Whistler bookkeeping business in 2008, Time Out Bookkeeping, which she still owns and operates.
She called on friend Christie Angeloni, who had worked for Clinique in sales and marketing, and the two got to work in Angeloni’s kitchen, formulating a vegan and nut-free line (Angeloni’s children have allergies) without parabens, phthalates or sulfates. They opted for natural preservatives such as elderberry extract and probiotics whenever possible. “Many nights we worked until 1 a.m., covered in lotions, and the whole house would smell like camomile,” says McGregor, who acts as president of Whistler Naturals while Angel¬oni is a silent partner.
With a background in the natural health products industry, McGregor stated in a Vancouver Sun May 11, 2013, Style Q&A article, “As I neared 40, it became more important to me that I could feel confident my skin care was working. There came a point where I just couldn’t find anything that I believed was effective and at a price point I was comfortable paying. My business partner, Christie Angeloni, who has experience in cosmetology, felt the same way.”
Their products are sold in spas and retail locations across Canada and the United States, and worldwide on their website.
McGregor has also written and had published short stories, and numerous article on business, beauty, and health including for Business in Vancouver (biv.com).

McGregor currently lives in Whistler, British Columbia with her fiancé and two sons.
