Lisa Campbell

Lisa Campbell is a Canadian cannabis activist, best known as the chairwoman of the Toronto chapter of Women Grow. She has been called one of the biggest influencers in the Canadian Cannabis industry.
Activism
In 2013, Campbell became outreach director at the Canadian Students for Sensible Drug Policy. There she advocated for responsible drug use, through needle exchange programs and decriminalization of illicit drugs.
Campbell has been an outspoken critic of the police crackdown of store-front cannabis dispensaries in Toronto. She argues that the dispensaries provide an essential service for medical cannabis patients.
Leafly, the world's largest cannabis site, named Campbell one of Canada's top 10 "cannabis heros", for her roll in organizing high events around high-profile politicians to challenge the right to medical access.
Toronto Green Market
Campbell operates a cannabis market at Toronto’s Centre for Social Innovation, called the Green Market. The market operates in a "grey area", where approved vendors provide cannabis infused items medical patients are entitled too, but have no legal means of acquiring. She compares it to a farmers market, due to the fact that approved vendors off artisan products in limited batchs that can be handled and observed before purchasing. This is in contrast to the government approved system that only allows mail order.
In The Media
Campbell co-hosts a tv show on Pot.tv, a web-only cannabis themed video channel run by Marc Emery
