Lila Shaara

Lila Shaara is an American novelist, the daughter of Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Shaara and the sister of novelist Jeffrey Shaara. Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, she made her way to Pittsburgh where she is currently living now with her husband and two sons. She earned her B.A. in religion from Duke University and her M.A. and Ph.D. in cultural anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh. She is an adjunct professor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is currently teaching at the University of Pittsburgh in Greensburg. She is the author of: *Every Secret Thing: a novel, 2006 *The Fortune Tellers Daughter, 2008 |
