LifeGuard30

The LifeGuard30, created by ViVre Medical, a for-profit company founded in 2009 and headquartered in Portsmouth, Virginia, maintains a database of customer’s medical information that is made available to emergency medical personnel in the event of an emergency. Clients supply critical medical information and personal health record, such as prescription medications, allergies, chronic diseases and emergency contacts that is uploaded to a small, mini-computer and carried by the user. Distinctive metal bracelets and ID cards are also used with the system The LifeGuard30 system is supported by a back-up program called LifeSupport which can be used by law enforcement or emergency medical personnel to access customer medical history or special medical needs.
Products
The LifeGuard30 device is carried by customers and designed to be placed on a keychain. The device is clearly marked with the Rod of Asclepius, the universal symbol of the medical profession to indicate medical records are available. The personalized bracelet bears the customer number (LifePin) that corresponds with the client and the Rod of Asclepius on the reverse side. Medical personnel can call, text or login to the LifeGuard30 website to receive more detailed medical information about the client if the device is damaged or missing.
