Liam Crowe

William Crowe (born 1923 in Dublin) was an Irish soccer player who played in the League of Ireland during the 1940s.
Crowe played for Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers during his career in the League of Ireland.
He joined Rovers in 1942 and went on to win the FAI Cup in 1944.( in which He scored the 3rd goal for shamrock rovers which was the deciding goal winning Shamrock Rovers the cup.) Moved to Shelbourne F.C. in 1946 and later saw service with St Patrick's Athletic, Dundalk F.C. and St James's Gate F.C..
His son Des later played for Bohs.
Liam died in Ryevale nursing home on the 19th February 2014.
