Li Jianjun is a National certified gemologist, Senior quality engineer in gem and jewelry and adjudicator on the trade examination about diamond, gems and Precious metals jewelry testing in the People's Republic of China (PRC).
He is the first person publishing the Polymer-filled aquamarine .
He is the first person introducing the Trapiche sapphire in Changle to the world.
He is the first person disclosing the polymer-filled peristerite ..
Li Jianjun was born in Changle county of Shandong province of PRC in 1976. There has been the famous Sapphire mineral deposit from 1986. Sapphire is the precious gift brought to inhabitant of Changle by volcano.
In September 1995, Li Jianjun began to go to the gemological institute, the Geosciences University of China in Beijing. In June 1999, he obtained Bachelor's degree in engineering on gemology.
Li Jianjun has been practicing gemology after graduating from University. From April 1999 to the beginning of 2002, he worked at the National Gems Testing Center in Beijing of PRC. From 2002 to date he has been working in National Gold & Diamond Testing Center of China (NGDTC) and Shandong Institute of Metrology, in Jinan city, Shandong Province of China. He is engaged in testing gemstone, jade (jadeite jade and nephrite), gold and so on.
Of cause his main research is focus on the gems and jade as one kind of luxury real enstate.
To date, he and his many co-authors have published many articles in gemological journals around the world..
