Lewd Acts is an American hardcore punk band. Their lyrics are mostly centered on mental disability issues, due to their guitarist being a Turner syndrome survivor and their bassist having Down syndrome as a result of swallowing too much bleach when he was a child. They play short, fast hardcore punk-styled music, identifying as part of the apolitical punk subculture. They are also straight edge. Due to the vocalist, Tyler Densley (a popular San Diego tattoo artist), being handicap-free, he gives discounted tattoos every year on Disability Awareness Day as a display of solidarity.
