Levi Fetterman

Levi Fetterman is an American rescue dog, owned by Gisele Fetterman and John Fetterman, the Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania. A Twitter account operated in the dog's name has 25,000 followers and declares him as the Official Dog of Pennsylvania. Levi has been described as Pennsylvania’s second dog, in reference to him being owned by Pennsylvania’s Second Lady.
Description
Levi is golden-colored male dog, and is a mix of about eight breeds including labrador retriever. At the time of his rescue, Gisele reported that Levi weighed 30 pounds; and that by 2021, his weight had increased to 76 pounds.” Levi lives with Gisele Fetterman, John Fetterman, and their three children in Braddock, Pennsylvania.
An image of Levi appears at the bottom of John Fetterman's political campaign website with the caption: "Hi, I’m Levi Fetterman. Boop my nose to donate $1".
Activism
In July 2021, the reported that Levi was an advocate for the increase of the state license fee for dog owners to fund the Pennsylvania bureau tasked with dog law enforcement, such as dealing with dangerous dogs and exposing puppy mills.
In popular culture
Levi's Twitter account self-declared him the Official Dog of Pennsylvania, with the moniker being repeated by TheBurg News in 2021. The described Levi as "Pennsylvania’s second dog" in reference to him being the dog of Pennsylvania's Second Lady.
