Lets Talk Tactics are a five-piece electronic rock band from London that fuse electronica and dance with rock music.
History
Lets Talk Tactics formed in 2008 in Guildford, Surrey. Their debut E.P. entitled "Advanced Preview" was intended as a 225 copy limited preview for their as yet un-named and un-released debut album. The E.P. was released on iTunes to coincide with the last physical CD sale.
The band's first show was at their student union music venue 'Rubix' at the University of Surrey, supporting Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong. They then played various shows around the UK, including supporting Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip, Partyshank, People In Planes, 65daysofstatic, and Furthest Drive Home. Lets Talk Tactics supported Enter Shikari at the official Give It A Name afterparty in May 2009.. In October 2008 the band went on a full UK tour with Does It Offend You, Yeah? playing 14 shows in cities around the UK. They played the BBYCKS party in Birmingham as a secret guest. In October 2009 they headlined the BBC emerging Proms. Lets Talk Tactics are due to release their first single, "Fortune Favours The Bold" in 2009. The single has received airplay around the UK including on Tom Robinson's BBC 6 Introducing show
