Leon Goodman

Leon Goodman (born 22 January 1960) is an English Impressionist painter. Many of his works are historical. His best paintings are thought to be his Romantic interpretation of tragedies. He was an understudy of the Landscape Artist David Aldus in a group of English painters and poets including Penny Clandon S.W.A and Michael Henderson. He left the group moving to France.

Leon Goodman was born in Banbury near Oxford.
Art
Leon Goodman is an Impressionist painter. He developed a colourful, decorative style. Many of his works have sold at the fine London auction house Christies, the Omell Gallery Ascot and Risborough Art Gallery. He was a finalist at the Garrick/Milne Prize where all his paintings were sold. Leon Goodman sold a large Viking collection of paintings to a collector in New York (some 50 or so paintings) He has also created paintings for The Duchess of Devonshire
