Austere Art Gallery is an Indian Contemporary Art Auction House with its headquaters based in Chandigarh. Est. in 1951, The Gallery is currently one of the largest Indian art galleries dealing with online sales of artworks.
History
The AustereArt Gallery began in 1951, when its founder Sewak Singh, himself an renowned indian artist, was exploring the roots of contemporary Indian art. The Gallery formerly known as Sewak Art Studio, then based in Mumbai, India. The Company got its major reformation in 2007 and was thereafter re-named Austere Art Gallery.
The core business of AustereArt Gallery is selling artworks and creating commission artworks (Abstract Art, Realistic Works, commission paintings, copies of paintings, commission sculpture and various Indian handcrafts). The Company also arrange and conduct personal and group exhibitions, as well as take part in development of different art projects. Our company actively participates in various culture events both in India and abroad.
