Lee Vaughan (born 17 July 1986 in Castle Bromwich, England) is a footballer who plays as a defender for Conference National club Kidderminster Harriers. Early career Vaughan began his career in the youth academy at Portsmouth F.C. before being released by the Fratton Park outfit and returning to the West Midlands with Walsall. After two campaigns with the Black Country based club, the 20-year old Vaughan decided to switch to near-neighbours AFC Telford, making his debut against Witton Albion in August 2006. After starting his career well with the Bucks, Vaughan was dropped from the team following the start of the 2008/09 season and demanded talks with then Telford manager Rob Smith. Vaughan made his final Telford outing in April 2010 at the end of his contract. Kidderminster Harriers The tenacious defender opted to switch to a club that could satisfy his demands for full time football and on May 11, 2010 signed for Conference National side Kidderminster Harriers. England C Squad Vaughan made his debut for the England 'C' side in the victory over Hungary in 2009.
