Leadhome

Leadhome, commonly referred to as Leadhome Properties, is a South African real estate brokerage headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa. The company was founded in 2015 and operates as a subsidiary of Home Group Investment Holdings.
History
Leadhome was founded by Marcél du Toit and Harry Hattigh in November 2015. Du Toit, who graduated from Oxford University in London, previously served as the vice-president of mergers and acquisitions at Deutsche Bank in Johannesburg and Hattingh served as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
In June 2017 the company launched an online platform called Simpli with the aim to provide transparency throughout the sales process. The platform was subsequently renamed to Bloom.
Leadhome started operations in Johannesburg and Pretoria and launched to estate agents in Cape Town and Durban in 2019.
The company launched its rentals division.
Business model
The company charges sellers a fixed fee based on the value of their property, to sell their property using agents, business intelligence and technology.
